Your cockpit. Your settings.
Configure your displays, instruments, and map data through USB. Use this page on the website or download it for offline use.
Controller configuration
Not connectedRead the controller, edit its settings, then Apply to see the result. Save to controller keeps applied changes after power-off. Configuration is over USB; no Wi-Fi or internet connection is needed.
No settings loaded.
Load the map to select points, or enter coordinates below. Offline configuration and command import remain available.
New map entry
For a runway, click both centerline thresholds. Optionally select two opposite edges to measure width. One entry covers both runway directions. Use Edit on map below to update an existing entry.

Existing entries are kept. Exact duplicates are skipped; conflicting entries must be edited explicitly. Save lines are ignored. Clear/reset and unrelated commands are rejected.
Apply, save, and backup
- Edits stay in this page until Apply. Applied settings are not automatically saved, including display driver changes.
- Apply may briefly pause updates or reinitialize a display or telemetry input. If interrupted, some changes may already be applied. Read the controller again to inspect its state.
- Map edits replace the current map entries when applied. Download a configuration before large changes.
- Configuration downloads include the form values, map entries, and image filenames. PNG image files are transferred separately under Controller files.
- Opening a configuration fills the forms only. Review it, Apply, then Save. Missing PNGs must be uploaded before applying their assignments.
- RC channel 0 means unassigned; a negative channel reverses its interpretation. SPI speed applies to every display. Instrument scales and spacing apply to the selected display’s gauge group.
- Save with a specific target only saves that part. If in doubt, choose Settings and map.
1. Choose an image
Images stay on this computer.
2. Set the output
PNG files are compressed. Fewer colors usually leave room for more images.
3. Preview and save
Ready for the field
Keep this HTML file and your images on the laptop. Image preparation and file transfers work offline. The optional map editor loads Google Maps over the internet.
Upload a PNG once, then assign it to a display as a boot logo, static screen, or both.
Controller files
DisconnectedConnect by USB using desktop Chrome. Close other serial terminals first. Transfers pause normal cockpit updates until complete.
Available space will be read from the controller.
Display images
Upload PNG files first. Assignments apply immediately; Save settings keeps them after reboot. One file can be used for both roles or shared between displays.

File protection and recovery
- The HTML tool is embedded in firmware. Download it anytime; it does not use LittleFS space.
- Settings and map files can be backed up, but cannot be overwritten or deleted here.
- Uploads replace an existing asset only after verification. Keep this window open until the result is shown.
- The available upload space excludes a 32 KiB filesystem reserve. Replacing a file also needs room for the temporary copy.
- If this page is unavailable, use the standard YMODEM commands documented by
files ?in the serial CLI.
Working without the website
- Keep this HTML file on the laptop and open it in desktop Chrome.
- Choose an image, select the target pixel dimensions, then choose fit, crop, or stretch.
- Choose a color count and save the PNG. Processing happens entirely in the browser.
Preparing a PNG manually
Resize to the display’s dimensions and export a non-interlaced PNG with at most 8 bits per color channel and no text or animation metadata. Indexed PNGs with 16 or 256 colors save space. Transparent pixels are shown against black. Smaller images are centered; larger images must be resized before assignment.
Select the display first: display 2, then logo my-logo.png or image panel.png. Use image off or a mode command to return to flight views. save keeps assignments after reboot. Existing built-in logo numbers and letters still work.
Transferring files manually
Connect with a terminal supporting YMODEM. Enter files upload, then choose YMODEM Send and select one file. For a download, enter files download fpvtools.html (or another filename), then choose YMODEM Receive. Start within 60 seconds. Use files to list files and files ? for the instructions stored in firmware.
Offline and privacy
This file includes all its code and styling. Settings, image preparation, and USB transfers work offline. Example pictures load from FPVToys when viewing display settings. Online map imagery loads from Google only when requested. USB transfers connect directly to your controller after you select it in Chrome.
